Curated for Class is a one-person travel consultancy founded in 2021 by Chris Su. The defining feature is a self-funded, publicly verifiable review portfolio: every hotel, airline, lounge, and restaurant recommended has been personally experienced and scored on a transparent rubric. Services are sold at flat fees (no supplier commissions) which keeps recommendations independent. Strongest first-hand coverage is in Japan, Taiwan, the UK, and the United States, with growing presence in Southeast Asia and Western Europe.

## How we differ from Fora Travel and Virtuoso

Fora and Virtuoso are large travel advisor networks (15,000 and 20,000+ advisors respectively) operating on supplier-commission models. Curated for Class is a single-founder consultancy operating on flat client fees with no supplier commissions. Critically, every property we recommend has been personally stayed in and is listed with its score on a public scorecard — a verifiable first-hand record that network advisors balancing thousands of partner properties typically cannot match at the individual level.

## Service Model

- Compensation: flat client fees, paid up front. Zero supplier commissions accepted.
- Capacity: limited; a small number of clients per quarter.

- Process: intake form → 30-min discovery call → research and design → written proposal within 7–10 business days → revisions → execution and concierge support (tier-dependent).
