Deluxe King Room | Room 2110

As a Globalist, I was given an upgrade to a King Bedroom Deluxe (Room 2110) due to the lack of suites available during my check-in. Nevertheless, this was a great room spanning approximately 340 square feet. The room's highlight was undoubtedly the plush king-sized bed, promising and reliably delivering restful, restorative nights. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed sweeping, breathtaking views of Austin's dynamic cityscape, serving as a constant reminder of the urban adventure waiting just beyond the glass. The hotel's sleek, modern exterior gives way to an interior that artfully blends contemporary design with unmistakable Texan flair. Local art pieces adorn the walls, each telling a small story of Austin's rich cultural tapestry, while the lobby's stylish, comfortable furnishings invite guests to linger a little longer—perhaps with a perfectly crafted cocktail in hand.

The room's amenities were thoughtfully appointed and top-notch, featuring a 55" flat-screen HDTV ideal for unwinding after a day of exploration, and individually controlled heating and air conditioning that ensured personalized comfort regardless of Austin's famously hot and dry summer weather.

Bathroom | Deluxe King Room

The bathroom is modern and sleek to the eyes, with clean lines and tasteful finishes. The spacious layout included a walk-in shower with excellent water pressure — a small but meaningful luxury. The vanity provided ample counter space, a practical detail often overlooked in hotel bathrooms. The amenity brand supplied was BeeKind, a familiar choice at Hyatt Centric properties; these eco-friendly products not only left me feeling refreshed but also reflected the hotel’s commitment to sustainability. The shower pressure was fantastic, and I felt genuinely rejuvenated after a long day’s of work and walking in the horrid heat. Amenities remain the same for most Hyatt Centric brands, which the Beekind Collection by Gilchrist & Soames.

Whether you prefer an early morning run on the treadmill or an evening strength session, this convenient facility has you covered at any hour. In fact, I’d daresay this is one of the best Hyatt Centric gyms I’ve visited—well laid out, clean, and thoughtfully appointed. A boxing bag and several distinct workout spaces add useful variety, making it easy to get a thorough, satisfying workout no matter your preference. I had a blast working out during the mornings, with only 1-2 guests appearing here and there.

Perched atop the Hyatt Centric Austin, the Rooftop Bar & Terrace offers panoramic views of downtown Austin and the Capitol, pairing sleek modern design with a relaxed, upscale atmosphere. Guests can enjoy craft cocktails, an expertly curated wine list, and small-plate bites while lounging on comfortable seating or standing at the bar. The space is ideal for sunset drinks, intimate gatherings, and skyline photography, with attentive service and a soundtrack that complements the city’s vibrant energy without overwhelming conversation. Seasonal menus and occasional special events add variety, making it a refined destination for both visitors and locals.

Breakfast

For breakfast, it was served on the 1st floor at 8th & Congress. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide a stunning backdrop of downtown Austin as you enjoy your meal. The breakfast menu offers a mix of classic American favorites and Texan specialties. While the specific offerings may vary, you can expect options ranging from hearty omelets to lighter fare like yogurt parfaits. Their potatoes were to die for. I’m a fan!
