ROKU Kyoto, LXR Hotels & Resorts | 44/50

The ROKU KYOTO, LXR Hotels & Resorts offers an ethereal retreat for those seeking immersion in Kyoto’s lush landscapes. The property’s serene atmosphere and state-of-the-art accommodations cater perfectly to the modern luxury traveler. To be the best though, there remains an opportunity for the culinary program to evolve to match the resort's exceptional architectural and service standards..

Alila Ventana Big Sur | 44/50

The Alila Ventana Big Sur is the ultimate coastal sanctuary, pairing unrivaled Pacific views with a seamless all-inclusive dining program that mirrors the rugged beauty of the region. While the steep nightly rates often equal a month’s salary, savvy travelers should target weekday point redemptions to bypass the near-impossible weekend availability.

Stanly Ranch, Auberge Collection | 43.5/50

Stanly Ranch, Auberge Collection is Napa luxury perfected: a sprawling sanctuary that pairs sublime wellness and modern fitness with cozy cottage comfort. With five-star service, world-class dining at Bear, and a tranquil gateway to wine country, it sets a new gold standard for the region.

Artyzen Singapore | 43.5/50

This hotel is truly special. The Artyzen Singapore inhabits the top echelons of the city’s five-star offerings, with its rooms composed with a beguiling blend of drama and refinement. amenities that would make some of its peers jealous and a service that is fitting from beginning to the end.

Montage Laguna Beach | 43.5/50

The Montage Laguna Beach is in its own class of its own - this is one of the most luxurious hotel property in Southern California with stunning backdrops of the ocean, immaculate attention to detail and one of the best hotel service teams out there. Once their renovations are complete, this hotel’s weakest sector will ultimately drive this to be one of the best hotels in California.

Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach | 42/50

The Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach unfolds as a sprawling Mediterranean-inspired manor defined by its impeccable, intuitive and relaxed service and an atmosphere of timeless seaside grandeur. This is such a fantastic alternative if you’re cross-shopping the Montage Laguna Beach or the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel.

Alila Napa Valley | 42/50

The Alila Napa Valley is Hyatt’s shining example of hospitality, offering an intimate sense of privacy alongside unfiltered, panoramic views of the historic Beringer vineyards. With its exceptional hard product—featuring sleek, modern suites and expansive balconies—complemented by the fantastic culinary experiences at Violetto, it remains a premier retreat for a sophisticated wine country escape. Hyatt fans, rejoice.

Andaz Seoul Gangnam, by Hyatt | 41.5/50

Dare I say it? I think this is better than the Park Hyatt Seoul. Fantastic location, amazing service and surprisingly one of the best F&B hotels makes this one of the best Hyatt redemptions for those looking to visit Seoul. Did I mention the Instagrammable bathroom? My goodness.

Carneros Resort and Spa | 41.5/50

Carneros Resort and Spa is a masterclass in "refined ranch" luxury, where private white-washed cottages and outdoor soaking tubs are nestled within a sun-drenched tapestry of rolling vineyards and aromatic lavender. Now a premier destination within the Hilton/SLH partnership, it offers a redeemable getaway for those that effortlessly bridges the gap between agricultural heritage and five-star sophistication.

Intercontinental Singapore Robertson Quay | 41.5/50

Despite its small base rooms and expat-heavy residential location, the quality of the rooms, combined with the friendly service massively make up the difference. This hotel isn’t for 1st time visitors, but definitely for those that want to explore Singapore on a different level.

Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills | 41/50

A masterwork of Pierre-Yves Rochon design, the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills serves as an ultra-private sanctuary where every terrace offers a front-row seat to the glittering theater of the 90210. The Great Gatsby vibe lives on.

Rosewood Sand Hill | 41/50

The Rosewood Sand Hill is definitely the cream of the crop in the Bay Area for the best 5 star hotel. It also has a price tag to match as well, but has the amenities to back it up.

Conrad Los Angeles | 41/50

Conrad Los Angeles is such a discreetly luxurious 5-star retreat in Hollywood — contemporary suites, refined dining, personalized service, and direct access to Los Angeles landmarks and attractions.

Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach | 41/50

The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach is a premier urban luxury hotel where every residence is positioned to offer guaranteed, floor-to-ceiling views of the Pacific Ocean and the lush greenery of Fort DeRussy Park. Perfectly perched at the gateway to Luxury Row, it combines a sophisticated residential feel with the brand's legendary five-star service, making it the ultimate high-altitude escape for those seeking quiet prestige in the heart of Honolulu. Shop to your heart’s content and come back for some Michelin-starred omakase.

Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay | 41/50

The views itself are gorgeous, their flagship dining is amazing and the rooms feel like a Ritz-Carlton. Service was great, and while it does cost and arm and a leg to stay here, if you’re able to snag a few nights with the right amount of Marriott Points, it’s well worth it.

Andaz Maui | 40.5/50

Save your Hyatt points and make sure you book yourself a good time at the Andaz Maui. The Three-tiered infinity pools and the sunrises are almost mesmerizing, and so are the cash prices for some of the suites. Worth the booking if you have a stash of Hyatt points ready.

Fullerton Hotel Singapore | 40.5/50

The Fullerton Hotel Singapore is a masterclass in heritage luxury, seamlessly blending the building’s storied neoclassical past with impeccable five-star service. While its classic design reflects its history, the unrivaled location and meticulous attention to detail make it an essential stay for those seeking timeless prestige in the heart of the Lion City.

Pan Pacific Orchard Singapore | 40.5/50

In such a competitive environment, the Pan Pacific Orchards stands out by being one of the most architecturally pleasing hotels I’ve ever been to, thanks in part to its ideation of themes within its own hotel grounds.

Bernardus Lodge & Spa | 40.5/50

Tucked amidst the rolling golden hills of Carmel Valley, Bernardus Lodge & Spa is a sun-drenched sanctuary of rural elegance where the soul of a French country estate meets the refined spirit of California wine country. It’s a great alternative against the various resorts like Alila Ventana Big Sur, Carmel Valley Ranch and Post Ranch Inn.

Four Seasons Silicon Valley | 40.5/50

Even as an old guard in a competitive market of Silicon Valley, the Four Season’s amazing hotel service and staff, along with that heavenly bed and in-room dining makes it a strong candidate for those looking for a luxurious stay in the Bay Area. Pricing is well worth it.

Four Seasons Austin | 40.5/50

The Four Seasons Hotel Austin does a great job representing what a Four Seasons hotel is, a luxurious retreat that is great at everything. The food was amazing, and the service remains top-notch, anticipating everything that I needed during my stay.

Westin Singapore | 40/50

Even as a business hotel, there are elements of being a modern luxury resort. Competition in Singapore is fierce, but those in the Marriott Family would absolutely love the Westin Singapore given its close proximity to the financial and tech sectors.

Clan Hotel Singapore | 40/50

This sultry and mysterious hotel has some of the best in-room amenity choices, and welcomes you with a tea ceremony and a snack. The Sky Gym and the Sky Pool is also an incredible addition that would be a highlight for any traveler.

Ka La’i Waikiki Beach | 40/50

This review was written before the renovations - but it’s surely one of the best Hilton redemptions for Hawaii, no doubt. With its upcoming renovation completion, this will be one of the hottest hotels in Waikiki, with its amazing hotel service and suite-like rooms. It feels like Hawaii.

Oceana Santa Monica | 39.5/50

The Oceana Santa Monica delights with its elegant design and warm individual hospitality, but misses the mark on five-star consistency due to notable lapses in service support that lag behind top-tier competitors.

Intercontinental Bellevue | 39.5/50

A contemporary luxury hotel in the heart of Bellevue, the Intercontinental Bellevue blends elegantly modern rooms with effortless access to the city's best dining, shopping, and business districts.

TETRA Hotel, Autograph Collection | 39/50

The TETRA Hotel , Autograph Collection is a sleek, modern business hotel that brings a touch of "quiet luxury" to the high-speed energy of Silicon Valley. Come for the Japanese-inspired flavors, high tech gadgets in your room, and a great coffee shop in the morning.

Hyatt Centric Mountain View | 39/50

The Hyatt Centric Mountain View is a sophisticated, tech-forward hub in the heart of Silicon Valley that expertly balances modern industrial design and premier Hyatt Globalist value with the walkable convenience towards restaurants and attractions.

Kimpton La Peer | 39/50

Kimpton La Peer captures the soul of West Hollywood through its fusion of bespoke art, gold-hued interiors, and a quintessential rooftop scene that feels like a private invitation to the neighborhood's creative pulse. I just wished there was a better shower pressure…

Conrad Seoul | 39/50

The Conrad Seoul is exceptional as a business-oriented hotel and has the amenities to back it up, but those looking for a more luxury or premium experience would easily find it elsewhere. Shame about the breakfast situation with Gold/Diamond members of Hilton.

Le Meriden Taipei | 38.5/50

Le Méridien Taipei stands as a great alternative to the W Taipei where the vibrant pulse of Xinyi meets the refined soul of European "chic." A renovation would most likely greatly benefit this hotel in the near future with upcoming luxury hotels just around the horizon.

Thompson Austin, by Hyatt | 38.5/50

Need I say daring and bold? If you love the high-energy, mid-century designs, this is the place. If you value sleep, good luck.

SENZA Hotel | 38.5/50

One of the best hotels in the Napa Valley area when it comes to location, a great hotel with awesome amenities and a relaxing vibe. But the shower situation is simply unacceptable.

Kimpton Da An Taipei | 37.5/50

The Kimpton Da An is unique and has great proximity to the bustling life of Taipei, but it may not be for everyone, particularly with its historical design and intriguing bathroom layout.

Hyatt Centric Centric Congress Avenue | 34.5/50

The Hyatt Centric Austin gets the job done for those that are on a budget, but value location and proximity to the cultural lifestyle of Austin.

Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach | 32.5/50

If you value location at Waikiki, the Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach is an absolute no-brainer. However, it does pretty much everything else rather average, and the lack of a dedicated breakfast or even compensation for Globalist members makes this an uneasy case for a solid recommendation.
